appointment to the following positions.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE MAYORSALARY : (TASK 7) : R154 256,28 pa excl 13th ChequeCONTRACT : FIXED TERM(LINKED TO THE ASSIGNED OFFICE-BEARER TERM OF OFFICE)
Basic Qualifications and Experience :-
l Post Matric qualification;l One-year experience in a working environment.l Computer literacy.l Ability to communicate in both IsiZulu and English Languages.Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: -l General understanding of local government.l Knowledge of local government systems, procedures and processes.l Good interpersonal skills.l Ability to meet deadlines.l Ability to work under pressure.l Planning and report writing skills.l Ability to communicate with community members of various rankings.l Understanding of protocol.Key Performance Areas : -
l Scheduling and confirming meetings.l Updating the diary and further reminding the Office-bearer assigned to about scheduled meetings/events.l Copy, typing and formatting documents/ reports.l Filing the correspondence directed to the Managers.l Attending telephonic calls and visitors.l Recording details of enquiries and/or messages in the absence of the Office-bearer assigned to and forwarding for attention upon availability.l Transmitting and receiving facsimile and also attending to the photocopying of correspondence or any documents.l Accompanying the Office-bearer assigned to on official trips whenever necessary.l Preparing speeches and presentations as and when requested by the Office-bearer assigned to.
In addition to the above salary for each post, the municipality
will offer a 13th cheque and further contribute towards the employee's Defined Contribution towards NJMPF and 60% towards Medical.
